Who we are
Rudrama Devi Mahila Mandali (RDMM) is a FSWs-led community based organization (CBO) registered in the year 2004. RDMM’s interventions are aimed at improving the quality of life of the female sex workers (FSWs) by creating awareness on HIV prevention, providing care and support for those affected by HIV and protecting their human rights and dignity in Warangal district. RDMM leads a Targeted Intervention (TI) supported by APSACS.
RDMM has membership of FSWs members who are home, street, and brothel based and activities are implemented in Warangal covering 1517 FSWs (high risk population) in 5 mandals viz., Hasanparthy, Geesukonda, Warangal, hanamkonda and Atmakur. The Project is supported by HIV/AIDS under AVAHAVN project. RDMM carries out activities through a team of FSWs who operate as cluster coordinators and CBG (Community Based Groups) facilitators. |
